Drug Testing Public Notice & Draft of Policy

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice of availability for review of the drafted OHA Drug Screening Policy for Eligible Housing Assistance Participants is available for review and comment. A draft can be reviewed at the Administrative Office, 935 West Main Street, Ottumwa, Iowa between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and online at https://www.ohatowers.org/news/
The OHA would like to utilize Drug Screening Policy at all OHA units receiving Housing Assistance which include the following: Southoak Towers, 102 West Finley Avenue, Camelot Towers, 827 Albia Road, Westgate Towers, 910 West Second Street, 1102-1120 Elm Court, 223-229 Fairview, 302 Summitt Street Apt 2-12, 1105-1115 Jay Street, 808-814 N Fellows Ave, 103-149 Taft Circle, 125-127 Taft Ave, Tindell Apt A-D, and Oak Terrace Apt 1-12.
Public comments will be accepted in writing through April 3, 2025, by 4:00 pm. The public comments can be submitted during regular work hours in person at Administrative Office located at 935 West Main, Ottumwa, Iowa 52501 or comments can be submitted to our 24 hours drop off box located in front of Administrative Office or if you reside at Southoak, Camelot or Westgate Towers the comments can be submitted in rent collection box.
Public Hearing to be held on April 28th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Administrative Office, 935 West Main, Ottumwa, IA.
